Reconstruction and Restoration

At the Tines Group we specialize in reconstruction and restoration projects after a multitude of claim related events. Whether its fire, water, wind, or any other type of disaster, we have the knowledge and tools to facilitate and perform the repairs. With decades of experience in insurance related construction our team has developed a skill set tailored to complexity and uncertainties associated with post disaster reconstruction. It is always our goal to create a plan that fits the individual needs of our clients and to expediate the construction process to limit exposure to business interruption and the headache of damaged facilites.

Different Settings

Over the years the Tines Group has been involved in all types of industrial, commercial, and residential construction. Learning from the different challenges associated with rebuilding hospitals, condominiums, manufacturing facilities, offices complexes, etc., we have become accustomed to adjusting on the fly and dealing with the unforeseen conditions that typically arise. We understand the importance of returning your business or home to normal with as little turbulence as possible and work hard to accommodate all of our customers needs.

Water Restoration

When water enters a building from a broken pipe or an outside source it can quickly cause damage to many different components of a building. Drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and other parts of the interior can warrant replacement must be thoroughly inspected to ensure it does not begin to fail as moisture works its way through the materials. With many different repair applications available from flood cuts to drying methods to full guts, it is important to have a trusted contractor generate an adequate scope of work to fit the damage. We specialize in ensuring that all damaged components of a structure are documented and replaced and work closely with hygienists and industry experts to make sure mold and mildew growth are mitigated and prevented moving forward.

Fire Restoration

Fire damage can present some of the more complex restoration projects in the space with the occurrence of not only the heat but the smoke and soot as well. Smoke can travel throughout a building through open walkways as well as ductwork damaging the finishes well beyond the point of origin. As many materials such as drywall are porous smoke and soot can make its way into stud and joist cavities. It is important that the components not being replaced be sealed in order to prevent odor or microbial growth down the road. The other component to fire damage is of course the fire itself. As a fire grows and spreads it can often damage the framing and structural components of a building. It is important to identify these damaged components and to replace them with an acceptable repair method. We often work closely with engineers to ensure structural components are replaced or repaired in order to ensure the structural integrity of the building.

Working with Insurance

With a long history of working with insurance carriers we understand the process in which claim related work must be completed and documented. We work closely with the carrier throughout the entire reconstruction process to ensure that scope and cost is agreed upon early and properly revised as unforeseen conditions arise. Over the course of a project we thoroughly document damages and repairs to ensure that carriers have everything they need in order to quickly settle claims and move on. We understand the strain an insurance claim can put on a business and work to make the process as easy as possible so our clients can get back to doing what they do best.
